L'Ikonta 520/14 fut présent peu de temps dans les catalogues Zeiss Ikon. Le format 5 x 7,5 a suscité peu d'engouement. Il n'y a que deux autres modèles de ce format chez Zeiss Ikon, un Box-Tengor (54/14) et un Cocarette.
Il existe deux variantes du 520/14 : obturateur Derval et objectif Novar 6,3 ou obturateur Compur et objectif Tessar 4,5.
